History and Introduction of PSAI
PSAI-Private Schools Association Islamabad was established in 1999 by the owners and principals of private educational institutions as a platform to facilitate, promote and uplift schools in imparting quality education and to assist & guide the private schools while dealing with concerned Govt. departments like CDA, MOE, EOBI, IESSI and FBISE, PEIRA etc. PSAI extends full support to the schools facing different challenges particularly the schools located in ICT Islamabad. PSAI also works for the general welfare of the schools.
2005 - 2007
Role of PSAI in Plot Allotments to Private Schools
It successfully pleaded the school-plots allotment and 47 school plots were allotted to schools on merit in the year 2005 and 2007. This was due to the efforts of the association that CDA was obliged to spread over the one year installments to five and seven years. The association played its vital role, ever since its inception, to solve the problems faced by schools in different areas.
2019
Role of PSAI in COVID-19
During the COVID pandemic, PSAI worked in close coordination and liaison with NCOC, Govt. of Pakistan and other health departments. PSAI succeeded to obtain many reliefs from Islamabad High Court and the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
2020 - 2021
PSAI Conferences & Meetings
PSAI hosted many conferences and meetings at national and regional level. Many Provincial and regional organizations, networks, forums and societies of private schools and colleges spread over the country, right from Khyber to the coast of Makran and Gawadar participated in these meetings

Establishments of PSAI Secretariat
It will be a matter of great pleasure for you and the honorable staff of your school that PSAI has succeeded in establishing its permanent secretariat in H-8/1, Islamabad in order to enhance its scope of services for the promotion of its great cause. Facilitating the schools and its staff to impart better education with modern techniques in conducive environment has always been the dream of PSAI. Hence as a result of continuous efforts of PSAI, it has been very successful in coping various challenges in the past i.e. Disputing different cases in the IHC and in the Apex Court, resolving the fee issues, reviewing PEIRA draconic rules, reviewing CDA notices and coping with other challenges faced by the schools functioning in CDA sectors, allotment of plots to school on installments and various challenges faced by the schools during pandemic. We applaud PSAI and its members for all these achievements.
PSAI Secretariat Initiatives​
Now the initiative taken by PSAI on the motivation of both of them is to make a permanent secretariat and establish its different wings to facilitate the schools and their staff in various fields like Training of staff, Medical Treatment of staff, Sports competitions, Automation of Schools operation by providing on campus management software, IT and Security arrangements on installments / subsidized rates, legal guidance with minimal costs are the steps worth mentioning. The ground work has already been done before writing this letter to the member schools.
First initiative that is taken by the PSAI is the Medical Treatment of Staff of all PSAI member schools. As staff of schools is the real force behind all the success stories of all the successful schools. That is why, PSAI management considers that physical fitness of staff must be ensured and facilitated. A paper containing the services that PSAI is establishe at its own secretariat under PSAI Medical Wing as well as the facilities that are provided by the renowned hospitals of Islamabad and prominent medical Labs at discounted rates under an agreement with PSAI are attached herewith this letter for your kind perusal

Medical Wing
It has been decided by the management of PSAI to establish its own hospital in near future where all kind of preliminary medical treatment and surgeries will be available for the staff of private schools and their families at economical and affordable rates.
Legal Wing
Legal wing will provide legal guidance to all the schools free of cost. Panel of lawyers is formed who will file and pursue the cases at special rates.
Welfare Wing
Welfare Wing will support the staff of all the schools by provision of support to their children in Health, Higher Education, Training, Placement, Scholarships & Stipends etc.
Sports Wing
Sports Wing will promote sports activities among the students. Provision of sports material on subsidized rates is under consideration. Coaches and trainers will also be provided to schools. Special arrangements are in progress with public and private sector organization to promote sports activities in schools particularly in the small schools.
IT Wing
IT Wing is established for provision of IT services to the schools particularly the small schools. Campus Software will be provided free of cost to all the small schools. Installation of cameras and other security devices will be provided on installments by IT Wing to small schools.
